Loved it! Thanks. Just a little to share here:
And while Republicans in the rest of the country are threatening to deport every immigrant not named Ted Cruz, California just OK'd driver's licenses for undocumented aliens. That's right, we're letting them drive cars -- just like white people! You Red Staters may ask, "How come they're lettin' Meskins drive?" Well, it's because they have to get to their jobs. You see, here in California we're embracing the modern world -- we can't be worrying about all the nonsense that keeps Fox News viewers up at night when they should be in bed adjusting their sleep apnea mask. Our state motto is, "We're Too Busy for Your B u l l s h i t."
The bottom line is that we are moving the country's largest economy into a place where we can all be health-insured, clean air-breathin', gay-married, immigrant-friendly citizens who don't get shot all the time. And my message to the rest of America is: do not resist. Kneel before Zod! California has been setting the trends in America for decades, from Silicon Valley to silicone tits, and it's not going to stop now. We say jump -- you say, "Please sell me new exercise clothes for jumping." We said put cilantro in food, and dammit, you did, you put cilantro in food, even though neither one of us knows what it is. Almond milk? We just had some extra almonds and thought we'd fluck with you. The enormous earlobe hole? You're welcome. We also invented the genius bar, where the kid with the enormous earlobe hole takes your MacBook in the back and fills it with animal pornography.
Here's the thing. What has happened to the classification of "illegal"? Many folks have no problem with immigrants, it's the "illegal" part.
What should be done is reclassify the group. Make it easy. Any one who wants to be a legal immigrant, just show up at a federal office and sign up, get a card and presto, problem solved. That way we get their productivity and their taxes.
There are 10 kinds of people. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
Agreed Dave. We are using their productivity and work now, but don't give them any credit. It is another form of "slave labor". And most businesses love it, but then they complain about illegals being a drain on society. Well, they created it. They wouldn't be here if they didn't have a job. It is very hypocritical of our society. And should END !!
Under the category of "Shoulda', Woulda', Coulda'" but...
Had NAFTA been fully implemented... ...AND BECOME REGULATED...
We Could've sent our industries South of the Border instead of overseas, where it Would Have raised the standard of living for the desperately poor citizens of 'Old Mexico'
You know... MEXICANS... Hard Working DEEPLY Religious People who (IMO) we SHOULD Be deliriously Grateful, to them for Guarding OUR Southern Most Frontier!
I've always felt, but seldom hear, how LUCKY We've Long Been to be Bordered by 2 FRIENDLY COUNTRIES!!
Had we shared some of our lower tech manufacturing plants there, and regulated and made sure that a decent standard of wages & working conditions were maintained life could have been so much better for these people. Not only would it have been just the "Right Thing To Do" but we'd have avoided so much crap that we're mired in today!
No need for millions spent on Border Patrols, or WALLS & FENCES... but rather a 2-way-worker-exchange with the same type Light Security we share between ourselves & Our NORTHERN Cousins (who we're so Lucky to have Guarding OUR Northern Most Frontier.
IMAGINE DAT! THE PAN-AMERICAN UNION We'd damn-near have this entire Hemisphere locked into Freedom & Prosperity & Shared Alliances for Decades!
We never got Hilary's Healthcare, Bill's NAFTA, or Al Gore's CLEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY
Instead we got THE PARTY of "NO" that locked up Clinton's ENTIRE 2nd Term over a STEENKING B.J.!
SMOOTH MOVE BUTT-HEADS!
...and EIGHT Years of Crap that we're Still Mired In!
er can you tell I didn't have a good nite? *coff*coff*
