I like the new Radio feature in iTunes11.1. Works fine on my iMac with OS 10.8.5, but the new Radio option doesn't show up in iTunes 11.1 on my MacBook with 10.6.8. Curses, foiled again! frown

Why don't you upgrade your OS software on your MacBook?

I tried to download Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and was informed it wasn't compatible with my computer. Curses, foiled again! Apple says that 10.6.8 is required and that's what it has.

Hmm. Go to About This Mac under the Apple. Click More Info..., click Hardware.

What is the Model Identifier? MacBook1,1 or MacBook2,1. 2,1 can run 10.7, 1,1 can't.

It can't run Mountain Lion 10.8, but it can run Lion 10.7 which will give you Radio in iTunes. Follow the instructions in the link below to get Lion. You'll have to call Apple, give them $20, then they'll send you a redemption code to redeem in the Mac App Store.

Crazy! crazy I found a Lion installer in my iMac's application folder. blush All I had to do was transfer it to the iBook. Opps, foiled again.

Do I add more memory? Now it's a dilemma. Maybe I'll just get a iPad and not mess with the MacBook.
