My wife is due an upgrade from the 4s. When I clicked on Order, it said 1-3 days. By the time I was done, it slipped to 7-10 days.

When I'm eligible for my upgrade next June, I think I'll be going for 32GB if it's affordable to me. The 8GB on my 4 is too little/restrictive. Although, I could get by OK with 16GB. I don't have to decide now anyway.

My first iPhone was the 32GB, since then I have opted for the 16GB. Works well for me..course I use an older iPod Touch for my music in my car.

So just walked by the Clarendon Apple store, which had *zero* lines ... because they were all sold out of the ATT and Verizon phones -- they only had Sprint left. When asked how quickly they sold out, the Apple person said the gold and silver ATT and Verizon phones sold out within the first six people in line since they only had TWELVE to sell. Not sure how long it took to sell-out the remaining black ones, but it doesn't bode well for in-store availability ...

I'm thinking the stratification of models might be hurting them a little ...

Glad you looked around and didn't just settle with what you had.

I'm happy with my iPhone 4. It's just like new! smile
