Their reporting was based on the "evidence" that was actually doctored tape footage, and yes, they got it all wrong and they were set up. Every episode in season 2 follows this storyline on how they f*cked up, the personal accountablility and the tangential circumstances that have taken emotional tolls on many of them … and their own personal accountability and integrity has likewise acted to bond them. And yes, Sloan is red hot.
My favorite is Charlie I've always liked Sam Waterston.
I find his interaction with Jane Fonda's character (and son) the most interesting of all.
I still wonder exactly what happened to Keith Olbermann. One night he wrapped up his show, and without any warning or explanation simply announced that he'd just done his last show

now you hit on my least favorite character the lying AHole who I'd gladly pull through [censored]
afaic the dismissive, overbearing way he treated Jim from day one (while Jim was warning him about the ((yellow alert)) Deepsea Horizon event made me want to land him on his keister from then on.

I realized I had seen the Fukushima episode because someone showed it to me in the US because they wanted to know how good her Japanese was.
The answer is she has obviously studied it some but it was a bit stilted and she is not fluent as she was portrayed. Still an interesting set of scenes.

Yes and that episode was definitely a series of things going wrong. The Fukushima Daiichi retraction and Will being taken to task for the black and gay Santorum supporter. The man who played that character was spectacular. I had to rewind it and watch his rebuke of Will again.

And thanks to Gary for putting some stuff in a spoiler box. I know it's not Breaking Bad level stuff but I would like to find some stuff out for myself.
