...and yes, about T-Dream... IMDb tagged the Score as "Unique & Nightmarish" I've seen T-Dream 7 or 8 times Live in concert. Each movie score is unique to the project... ...but when my BF heard "Sorcerer" for the first time it made him physically shutter.
You see, being too young for Nam.. he served his time in the Panama Canal Zone... The first thing he said was "OH GOD! They captured 'the FEEL' of what it's like to be in an oppressive jungle.. ...closing in from all sides... AND THE INSECTS!"
The noise surrounds you... permeates your very thoughts... Day & Night... screeching parrots, howling monkeys & the constant whine of INSECTS.
He said William Friedkin was spot-on capturing the ever present rain & mud, sweat & stench of mildew and rotting EVERYTHING---EVERYTHING!

You're right, Lea mentioned it above, and instead of Hedwig I went and watched Repo Man. I liked Hedwig a heck of a lot more than Repo Man. Come to think of it, I watched the second movie on Lea's list 11:14 as well, which was a pretty good flick, but never got around to Hedwig. Should've trusted her.

Got Pompeii from Netflix and thought it decent.. NOT Gladiator and somewhat predictable, BUT it was pretty realistic with the volcano scenes from what I've read about the event. The ending is also realistic (no give away) - i.e. no "Hollywood" ending.
Rotten Tomatoes (27%) panned it and it did poorly at the Box Office.
