grin Yeah...
...we gotta' stop meeting like this!

As I recall, you were also the only person here that
had even read "The Watchman" way-back-when.

Sorcerer:
The Plot Thickens

...and yes, about T-Dream...
IMDb tagged the Score as "Unique & Nightmarish"
I've seen T-Dream 7 or 8 times Live in concert.
Each movie score is unique to the project...
...but when my BF heard "Sorcerer" for the first
time it made him physically shutter. eek

You see, being too young for Nam.. he served his
time in the Panama Canal Zone... The first thing
he said was "OH GOD! They captured 'the FEEL' of
what it's like to be in an oppressive jungle..
...closing in from all sides... AND THE INSECTS!" cry

The noise surrounds you... permeates your very
thoughts... Day & Night... screeching parrots,
howling monkeys & the constant whine of INSECTS.

He said William Friedkin was spot-on capturing
the ever present rain & mud, sweat & stench of
mildew and rotting EVERYTHING---EVERYTHING!

All I watch is movies no one else watches… blush

I keep trying to tell y'all, you've got to see Queen of Outer Space.

Zsa Zsa's finest hour.
You can thank me later.

Try again.
I've seen that as a kid.

Although all I can recall is the Guy who
went on to play the Trail Boss in "Rawhide"
(Eric Flemming") wink

GAW!
That was so bad I was sure MST3K had done it,
but I don't see it among their Other 198 HORRIBLE Movies.

BY GOD!
I THINK I'VE GOT IT!
Another of My FAVORITE Movies
I'm pretty sure not even lanovami's seen laugh

My "Out There AND Over The Top" offering is**

Welcome To WOOP WOOP
IMDb Link

<-WIKI Kliky

(yes... that’s Rod "Mr. TIME MACHINE" Taylor)

"Woop Woop" is an Australian colloquialism referring to a
fictional location in the middle of nowhere...
...pretty much the equivalent of our "Bumfuk" grin

** Directed by Stephan Elliott
who'd also directed "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert"
BTW They were both INTENDED to be 'outrageous' wink

You're right, Lea mentioned it above, and instead of Hedwig I went and watched Repo Man. I liked Hedwig a heck of a lot more than Repo Man. Come to think of it, I watched the second movie on Lea's list 11:14 as well, which was a pretty good flick, but never got around to Hedwig. Should've trusted her. smile

Got Pompeii from Netflix and thought it decent.. NOT Gladiator and somewhat predictable, BUT it was pretty realistic with the volcano scenes from what I've read about the event. The ending is also realistic (no give away) - i.e. no "Hollywood" ending.

Rotten Tomatoes (27%) panned it and it did poorly at the Box Office.

anyone else see it?
