Hollywood buzz about Ahstons performance being possibly Oscar-worthy!

I was withholding an opinion, but wth?

So far I've only seen the Trailers... and a few movies
staring Ashton Kutcher, and AFAIC he totally lacks the
passion & karisma of Our Late Fearless Leader.

...but I'm willing to give it a chance...

..and from the trailer,
they didn't even come CLOSE to The Woz!

I enjoyed "Pirates of Silicon Valley" so between
that.. and having seen so much of "The Real Thing"
they've got their work cut out for them

I hope they surprise me. smile

Usually the movie is nothing like the trailer, I hope that's the case here too.

Being from that era and into the tech in the 80s Pirates with Noah Wylie was really close to what it was like back then. Not much was Hollywood polished in Pirates. I hope this can capture the same mindset and not be too Hollywood, but first look...

Now I sound like Dave. smirk

It's a movie. Enjoy. Right?

I'm so confused.

Don't be confused.
There is one thing thing that brought us all together as a family.

I watched an IT pro today, dealing with my businesses Windows computers, desperately trying to make it all work.

It reminded me of how much I love my Mac family.

The movie may be good or bad, but we lived it.
Happy to have you all here, after all these years.

Word is that Ahston is expected to do great.. but that the director is a nobody with nothing much to his name. A bad director can axe an otherwise decent production.

That can go either way...
...I've seen unmatchable movies from 1st timers...

"What's New Pussycat?" was Woody Allen's first attempt
and Mel Brooks popped the cherry with "The Producers".

Can't remember who FINALLY accomplished "The Watchman"
but (at least to us rabid fans of the book) it was a
BRILLIANT endeavor of an allegedly impossible task.
