I am receiving Medicare, Social Insecurity, and just made out my will. I informed them at work that I have reached the age where I can no longer be held accountable for any decisions I make even though the will says i have a sound mind.

Making out a will is a different experience. I went the lawyer route rather than trying to do it with a computer program. I did the will, power of attorney, medical directive, power of attorney for medical care, and a beneficiary deed for the house. The cost was well worth it for the added peace of mind.

We did our wills this past Spring. Even though we are young, it is a peace of mind knowing things are taken care of. Still need to do the whole funeral planning one day.

CONGRATULATIONS!
(?)

I was out 4 the evening playing
a few favorite tunes on a JukeBox
when some jerk yells over the music;
"WHO PLAYED 'THE GEEZER ROCK'?" cry

At first I felt insulted
then I realized, HE WAS RIGHT! frown

I gave both my kids a written letter explaining by burial wishes. We purchased cemetery lots and had a tombstone installed several years before the wife passed away.

I had always planned on being shot by a jealous 18 year old husband when i was 80 but the number of possible jealous husbands has been expanding at a rapid rate so I did the will now.

Well, if you google How old is a geezer, the first answer pops up is Geezer Butler! laugh

But the Urban Dictionary says:
1. geezer
In the U.K.: A guy, a bloke, a person in general. The British equivalent of the American slang word "dude".

In the U.S.: An old man, particularly one who is either cranky or eccentric. Rather derogatory term.

So here in the U.S. I guess it depends. I'm 48 and don't feel it at all, yet to some younger people, I'm old!
