Have you all heard of this new device?
This is what it looks like:
Comes in different colors. What's so different about it is the ability to focus on something AFTER you take a picture.
Yup...AFTER you take it. This really makes me think of the possibilities. No more worrying about if something is in focus. Just shoot and then tap on where you want the focus to be. Very cool.
But after borrowing the above device from a friend, I found it lacking in resolution. Neat toy, but hopefully either they really develop this or someone buys them up. At $400 for the cheaper version, yeah, it's not a cheap toy.
That's pretty much useless except for on screen display.
What I found odd is that for an 8G unit they say it only holds 350 "living" pictures. It seems like there should be enough resolution to give a higher MP. Have to read up more on it when I have the time.

It's lots and lots of lo res photos.. that's how you "focus" where you want.
