With AT&T's VM, if you press and hold "1" the phone auto dials VM. But there's no way to voice dial VM — or so I thought. Turns out just tell Siri, "Call me", and you go straight to voice mail! Who'd-a-thunk-it?
Since I got the iPhone, I have never had to call for voice mail. I just use the visual voice mail on the phone. Much easier IMO, it's always right at your fingertips, and you don't use up any minutes that way either.
