The 27" iMac came out in 2013. What changes were you looking for? One that included a superdrive? confused

The new 27 iMac shipped in late December 2012. Just a few weeks ago they put faster 7200rpm HDs in the fusion drive configuration, but also added a new option of a 512Gb SSD which I'm ordering. If there was an anouncement today that iMacs would have retina displays or better speakers I would have waited.

From what I've run across it's speculation, but if it can run Mountain Lion, hardware-wise, it should be able to run 10.9.

Roger that. That's the latest iteration.. of a model that has been around for...years. Just saying.. that's not the same tech as what's just been announced. Not even close.
But you know that.
It's going to be very interesting to see final specs on this puppy. smile
