The year's biggest race — for the governor's office — isn't expected to see much drama today. Neither Republican Gov. Chris Christie nor Democratic state Sen. Barbara Buono face strong opposition in the primary, and they're expected to easily win their parties' nominations. .
I believe Australia (and probably not just there) requires people by law to vote. Not sure what I think about that, but it is an interesting idea. I can imagine outrage at such an idea in America already.

I was strongly in favor of VP. Al Gore, and as a staunch environmentalist, was looking forward to SOMETHING Finally Getting Done to increase mankind's dwindling chances for survival on what's left of Earth.
...I switched off the TV just as the Balloons and Confetti began to fall from the ceiling... everyone was grinning and champagne corks were popping!
The next morning I woke up to this ongoing nitemare.
