I keep the iPhoto icon on the dock--and for some reason it shows a notification message. Like this:

So what is that all about? I can't figure out what the notification is about!! And I can't get rid of it. And it's driving me crazy. Crazy, I say--CRAZY!!!

wink

There was a recent update to iPhoto but that should appear in the app store icon. Maybe its confused? Just a wild guess that is probably wrong.

But I don't use photostream and don't do shared photos! AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEE . . . CRAZY!!!

Seriously, though, I hate it when the computer does something that I don't control.

Check everything in Photostream in iPhoto preferences. Quit iPhoto. Relaunch and uncheck everything, quit. Relaunch.

Pray.

The only thing I have in the accounts is my mac.com email. Photostream is not turned on--nothing is checked in that preference pane. And yep, it's 9.4.3
