. It's come to my attention that a few acquaintances of mine tried to join our forum but were unable to either log-in or create a new account using older versions of FireFox and Tiger(10.4?) on older Macs that can no longer be updated.
Both dumped their Forum Cookies but not the cache, Opera and Firefox are a No-Go, but one member was able to finally sign in using Safari.
They were also not able to retrieve New/Temporary Passwords using newer e-mail addresses.
Is there a known issue using older versions of everyone's favorite (default) Browser?
Or is it perhaps blocked as part of our SPAM FILTER?

Exactly what happened? That's a little vague. Error messages etc? Did they receive an email reset link or did it error out when requesting a new password?
Doano the details. Doano the right questions to ask. Difficult to get in direct contact with anyone except when they kinda' do a fly by.
but I'll do what I can to relay messages.
#1 : Does the member have to use the Same E-Mail Address that they'd signed up with years ago? or will will it go to a more recent one if they can get as far as a Re-Set Request?
When I attempt to sign in with last known account name and password I get the message User name not known.. So if I try and register the same name or any name .. all that changes when the page reloads is that it highlights whatever username I try and register in a red box. Nothing else.. no explanations, messages or emails.
