The GOP and the big Insurance companies are engaging in scare tactics... everything that happens in medicine that's bad - It's Obamacare !! They ignore and won't mention the good stuff. It's all just negative, negative, negative, negative....
and as many appointed out Obamacare is not in full swing. If you talk to many Seniors about Medicare – it's like a life Boat on the Titanic. however, mention Obama care and the bogeymen come out of the woodwork!! it's just all hyped nonsense ! People need to wake up, the insurance companies just want go on gouging people and letting prices go through the roof, uncontrolled. People like Michele Bachmann ( read : in the hip pocket of the insurance companies) are the worst and that's why many credible, fact checking organizations gave her many "pants on fire" ratings.

Just like Steve said. They are uninformed. They don't even WANT to know what it means, it's just easier to say it sucks, it's socialist, and it will cost more money. And oh yeah, OBAMA. Even the people I know that supported him, no longer trust him.
As far as myself? I'm scared because my boss might cut off our medical benefits, which I've always received in loo(?) of a raise. So if I have to pay out of pocket, it's going to hurt me big time.

"If it turns out that President Barack Obama can make a deal with the most intransigent, hard-line, unreasonable, totalitarian mullahs in the world but not with Republicans? Maybe he’s not the problem."

Also, if your employer drops your healthcare (and, honestly, why should health insurance be linked to employment anyways?), that's what the exchanges are supposed to be for: to provide affordable insurance to individuals who can't get it through work =)
Plus, if your employer drops your coverage, he now owes you that raise, no? ;-D
