You know this tour they are playing The Yes Album, Close to the Edge and Going for the One in its entirety?

And the fact the lead singer (sole) singer plays bass... how many bands does the lead singer play bass?
Also, how many bands does the drummer write most of the lyrics?

And they sure put out a lot of sound for a 3 dude band.

Roger Waters (of Pink Floyd) Plays bass, wrote the
lyrics and does everything including the stage sets.
...Pink Floyd eventually ran out on him because
his drive toward perfection-ism made them CRAZY!
..so yeah... now he's the Lead Singer as well!

My Fave Jon & Vangelis song

lol just recalled;
seeing Dear Old Roger do "THE DARKSIDE TOUR"
at an out-door concert in New Jersey.
we were all waiting for the concert to start
...waiting ..waiting...waiting... WTF???

The MOMENT The FULL MOON Broke the Horizon
Roger broke into "DARK SIDE of The MOON"

lol gotta' love him or run for the exit screaming!

Thanks, Nuke, that was very good. smile

On another note, I was disappointed to learn that Peter Banks, Yes' original guitarist, passed away in March. frown

I always liked his playing.

Stumpy, I recently got a DVD of "current" interviews with Yes, including Peter Banks.
What a sad, bitter human being he was. :-(
Mostly because, according to him, Steve Howe didn't want him on the Union tour.
Banks said he didn't even care if he was unplugged, he just wanted to be there.
And deservedly so…

Snap! If that don't sound like the Don Felder story with The Eagles.

Acckk! Why go with an impersonator? Like the story I heard of Journey finding this kid in a tribute band with the exact same voice as their previous singer….. I love Yes, but in 2013 I think Phil Collins Elvis has left the building.

So younger generations can get a taste of what we had? So these old farts can get out of the house and away from their wives?
BTW... Journeys new singer looks young... but he's 45... so not that far off from the band age-wise.

Or are you so old that 45 is like a kid?? cool eek
Oh.. and there are guys still dressing up and singing Elvis songs...
