My dogwood is not pink nor white. Rather it looks like a very light greenish white color. It blooms after all regular colored dogwoods have passes. I call it my Jesus tree because for some reason I have difficulty remembering the name "dogwood".
It's a much hardier, insect & disease resistant variety of dogwood called a "Kousa Dogwood" that nurseries have been encouraging people to plant rather than the more familiar native that's being decimated across the country by fungal disease.
