From a different source below, it seems the cake wasn't left intentionally. Front story; His daughter was in the hospital after a car accident. When he got home from the hospital he was hungry.
I gotta ask though, a whole cake? First thing in the morning? The sugar buzz alone would be enough to trip me out. A whole cake when a piece was probably all that was needed, he had to have been buzzed.
"Itís believed the cake was left at his home by a friend of his second daughter. Although his daughter allegedly pleaded with her friend not to bring the pastry inside their home, those pleas were apparently ignored, and the cake made its way into their kitchen.
When his daughter was hastily picked up from their home soon after hearing news of her sisterís accident, her friend also left the home, but forgot the pastry in the process."
No disrespect meant to the man in uniform, or regarding the car accident, but some of this is kind of funny on a few different levels.
1 - Her Friends got to know that her dad was a cop - so don't drop off illegal shiit.
2 - I never take the first pice of a cake with some ones name on it , or even if it just said Happy Birthday and it was not mine ? -> leads me to believe this cake had no title to it ? but being this guy was a cop , he was and arse to begin with So title on the cake meant nothing.
3 - As for eating the whole thing <- we just don't know how big this cake was ?
4 - If you never did pot before and was tricked - YES it would seem like ya gonna die. More so if you never had a stroke or heat attack before to have a comparison.
Not like Hash Brownies......this was like Hash OIL!
Fuk Yeah! he musta' bin FLYIN'!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The thing is that when Ingested as opposed to being smoked, the high is much more intense AS WELL AS LONG-LASTING!
While I can see why he reacted as he did, getting really zonked prolly intense vertigo and numb as shyte FOR NO APPARENT REASON (not to mention HIGH as a kite!) musta' been scary as hell for "Mr. Strait".
Makes me wonder about the Other Daughter's Car Accident... Did she have a piece of the same cake as well? Just sayin'...
If I was this so called "friend" I'd be considering a long journey!
Yeah, doseing somebody could carry serious consequences; The most serious bit could-have-been if he'd gotten into an accident during his panic to seek (what he'd perceived as) life-saving intervention, been kilt, or killed someone.
The idiot baker would be facing charges for manslaughter.
As it is he's facing reckless endangerment, and getting slapped with the Emergency Treatment + over-night stay in the hospital. Hopefully the other daughter's accident was unrelated, however, the embarrassment to the Chief of Police, not to mention the reputation of his entire family at being dragged into even the local news sources
*shaking my head -- but still chuckling* Wodda' Tool!
Then again, the Bush Family got away with their share of "youthful indiscretions" and lived to tell about it.
