I think N.K. is just playing mind games with the U.S. and Japan. When it really comes down to it they are pure bulls--t.This idiot of a leader don't know his ass from his elbow about any type of military strategy.What does a 30 year old know zero!

Doesn't matter what he thinks he knows... don't you remember being 30? You pretty much know it all at that age.

Okay I was wrong- well maybe the fact that Korea was 50 years ago - and - Iraq was maybe 10 years ago.

The point I am making is that NK - like Iraq. <- with their Million Man Armies.
Are and was well behind the tech Power Curve.

However to add to insult- we should have gotten out in 6 !! ugh !! Actually shouldn't have gone in the first place, BUT we were going to be greeted as "liberators" !! so WTF ?!!

I re-read now I know what you mean.

What I mean by walk over is Saddams million man army which I mentioned. The insurgency is what kept the US there for so long in which case they had no planning for.

If I remember correctly the US did not think the insurgency would happen that fast - in fact they thought the US could stabilize the new government before tribal mentality sets in ?

IMO;
The insurgency started right after Saddam was captured.

I remember it starting very early like within 2-3 weeks (maybe 1 month) when the Iraqis hung those contractors from the bridge in Bagdad, I think it started before Saddam was captures (2-3 months later)... yep I was right... Invasion March 20th, Saddam captured Dec 14th... > 8 months later. Insurgency started long before that.
But it is hard to remember exact timelines 10 years later.

Yeah, you could be right ?

We do know that the lotting started almost immediately which the US was not prepared for that - they thought the other crimes like the hanging you mentioned was related to gangs of thuds or revenge killings via Iraqi ex-military. Anything but insurgents.

Do you think this leader of N.K. is an revolutionary or just a mixed up young leader who is testing the U.S.?
