It was a very painful experience. I've been getting the shingles vaccine for two years now and plan to continue. Hope your case is mild and resolves quickly.

It has spread a bit and I need to go to an ophthalmologist tomorrow to get the eye drops that prevent the shingles from causing eye ulcers. So much fun! _________________________

He isn't concerned that it will affect my eyes due to the location of the outbreak being below the eye. If the outbreak were on my head or forehead, then there is a significantly higher risk of eye infection. _________________________
