I'm often confused, but never more than when I try to match weather data. I look at that wind map and I see that the whole east coast has winds from the south by south west. And yet it's 23º here, and we have snow showers from time to time. Why doesn't the southerly flow bring me some warm air? I want warm air mama!

Well it's 6:30 EST, everybody is awake in the US. I let the http://tweetping.net/ page run for about 15 minutes. It's interesting seeing the areas most active. There is a dividing line almost right down the middle of the US.
