Yep--I was going to suggest importing the list into Excel and doing a sort that way. But that would mean making the lists delimited somehow. I wonder if you could do a Find and Replace in Word, changing spaces to commas, and importing the list as a comma-delimited file into Excel.

Sorted Column C to organize the 3 lists, then deleted column. Switched Column A (Last Names) with B (First Names) and merged cell, which created a character Tab between the words. Copy and pasted into Illustrator (Which was my destination for the whole thing), and used Find and Replace to change the Tabs to a Space. Don't know if it's the correct way of doing it, but it worked! :-P

I've never been an expert with Word, but seems like I remember that one can convert to a list then copy tht list into excel into columns. I could be wrong about this, though
Since I quit teaching, I've had little use of excel, but when I was teaching, I had a good handle on it.

Alright, alright. I was sick that day. "Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD! "
