But we're talking about Sarah Palin (the anti-Obama) and the country no longer wants to hear her one-dimensional uber-patiotism & Annie Oakly gun-worshipping freedom-saving blather. (Palin requires a whole mess of hyphens to describe her.)
The market has spoken. Paul Ryan and Rand Paul have filled her shoes. They are in positions of power where their freedom from government blather gets ratings as well as votes in Congress. Murdoch is making strategic choices within his power to reshape the GOP for the midterm elections.

Well good for Murdock; But from seeing all these weight reducing TV adds from just about everyone - I just don't see how the GOP can reduce the (fat) between their ears in such a short time ?? I mean the mental exercise is just not there for a GOP official.
I loved to hear Paul Ryan on MTP this AM totally gloss over a comment he made during the election about his budget and spending priorities. 2012: "There are contrasting choices and the American people will choose (election)."
Today: David Gregory reminded him of his statement & point out "THEY DID!". Ryan back stepped / side stepped / 2 stepped around it.... "well we need to sell our message better' !
YOU DID YOU DUMB FOCK !!! NO ONE wants the fowl sewage !
To win significantly, the GOP needs about 100 Chris Christies and Jeb Bushes, i.e. moderates with a brain. I just don't see the current leadership giving up their hold... they're in total denial and removed from reality (Trump Syndrome aka Mad Cow ). And the TP just makes them worse.
