steveg Making a new reply. Registered: 04/19/02 Posts: 25136 Loc: D'OHio	I had collected a stack of useless scrap wood to toss out. For some reason, I took a second look at a large-ish piece of pine with oddball dimensions and a lot of imperfections and dings, and out of the blue came a connection! Some wood putty, lots of sanding, a bit of trim and a few coats of honey pine polyurethane, and viola! A perfect fit and an excuse to do a bit more decor tweaking. Somebody stop me before I redecorate again! _________________________

I got it for $5 at a flea market a/b 20 years ago. It's fully functional, but the space bar linkage broke last year and it needs a ribbon. _________________________

And the ribbon still imprints � just not as clearly as a new one. Read: It's fully functional with one workaround. [:p Oh, and it only has serial ports � no USB. _________________________
