Nah! I'm not going to get it, but that's just me. Not a bad intent for trying to teach some rudimentary gun safety. They should have left out the NRA propaganda parts though.

I had to get the app. To check out the targets
The question is do the targets look like caskets. Well, to the extent that caskets look like the human body in rough form.
Lots of games have lot more human realistic look. Many targets have real people on them with animation . At least from what I've seen in ads. I don't get shoot Em up Aps

You're right Dave... they only "roughly" look like caskets.
Lots of games do have more realistic animation. I know. I play one every night. Call of Duty 4.
But the point here is this a game released by the NRA with timing that couldn't be more callous and unthinking. NRA President Wayne Lapierre's comments drawing a connection between video game violence and real-life violence have raised the issue of whether the NRA app is hypocritical. So, being hypocritical isn't reason enough to pull the app, but that doesn't stop it from being tasteless and hypocritical.
