I'm so sick of this idiotic argument over people, not guns, killing people. Let's take just accidental gun deaths for example. No gun, no accident is a no-brainer of course. But comparing the gun to any other "tool" — if you point a knife at someone, can it go off accidentally? Can your arm accidentally or involuntarily thrust the blade into someones chest?
Take a look at this chart. If guns were not available, and the perps of these murders had to use some other "tool" or their bare hands, imagine how different this stat would be!
