Maybe I'll get around to noticing all the neat stuff in Lion before something else comes out to replace it.

Someone sent me a youtube link in mail. I can preview it right in mail!

Wow! Neat!

You can preview a web location file right in the Finder the same way (selecting the file and hitting the space bar).

Good grief! That is really helpful. Also discovered similar thing when using Spotlight.

Lion is full of tricks and surprises. I knew once I took the leap and got over the first shock of things "different" I'd like it.

I should have mentioned that selecting almost any file in the Finder and hitting the space bar will preview the file's contents (text files, images, presentations, etc.)

...Yeah, it is so neat to preview things so quickly when looking for a certain file.

I love those kerning ph_uck-ups on your main web page! Funny.

Not InDesign files, AFAICT. All you get is a 50-pound ID icon.

Works very well with InDesign and Illustrator.
Shows Fonts and swatches in document too.
I don't remember it being so expensive though…
There are a lot of plugins for quick look.

SneakPeek is an awesome little utility. For those who work with a lot of InDesign and Illustrator files, it's well worth the $20 price.

Agreed.
I've had it so long, I forgot I had it!
I consider quick look the killer app on OS X.

I make a PDF of every revision of every ID file in my workflow because I always send a confirming PDF to clients at each stage as part of the review and approval process. So for me, it's not really worth the $20. And, BTW, the space bar shows AI files, too.
