I unfortunately am not talented in the programming field and I just recently bought a MBP. I want to be able play games using Bootcamp for Windows and be able to have 5.1 channel surround sound. The issue is that the stock drivers for OS X 10.8.x do not support encoding. They do support decoding which isn't my problem. I am wondering if anyone knows of a trustworthy website where I can get a sound kext that allows 5.1 channel surround sound live encoding.

The only thing I can think of is uninstalling all Realtek drivers and software, restarting the computer and letting Windows install it's own sound drivers.

Is it really possible that it will definitely work after uninstalling and then installing all the drivers ?
