A posting over on FaceBook:

Quote:
Social Security and Medicare are TRUSTS, totally financed with separate payroll deductions by the hardworking Americans that will one day retire & benefit from them. These trusts are not part of the Federal budget and do NOT add to the deficit. The GOP try to call them "entitlements" because this word has come to mean "free stuff", "lazy" Americans don't deserve and Republicans are dying to get their hands on the billions Americans have saved for their retirement in order to pay down the huge National Debt the GOP ran up with asinine fiscal policy and two wars.

Pelosi to force the House vote on the bill passed by the Senate by filing a "discharge petition" tomorrow. Boehner will weep. Yeah, Parlimentary Procedures bitch!

Douchebag republicans being instructed to vote "present" to avoid accountability when the bill does get put up for a vote!

IF we go back into a deep recession, I hope they (GOP) all get their azzes kicked out in 2014 !! mad

A new POLL shows the GOP will get blamed more by a margin of almost 2:1. (53% blame GOP, 27% blame BO, 12% blame both).

That's better news... (but still nothing good) ....

For the life of me I don't see it... they are supposed to represent the wealthy who have heavy $$ in the Market, yet they'll fsck up the Market to prove a point ! AND isn't it better to pay 2-4% more in taxes if your portfolio gains 10-15% than to pay less %age but your portfolio goes to SHTT ? crazy It's TOTALLY F-ing IRRATIONAL !! eek

Gotta love it. Ever since the 2010 mid-terms, all we've heard from the right is mandate mandate mandate and the people have spoken. But now that the people have spoken again suddenly "mandate" is a dirty word. crazy
