OS X 10.8.2, iTunes. Before I even upgraded to 10 8 2 and iTunes 11.0, I somehow changed my iTunes to have white text on black background.

Some things are not readable now that I have iTunes 11.0. I've looked in Prefs and searched Apple Forums for the way to turn it back with no luck. They keep thinking one has to change the whole computer to do the white text on black and offer solutions on how to change THAT back.

iTunes is the only thing I changed. Anyone have any idea how I did it and how to change it back? tia

Since this is the command in Universal Prefs. to toggle back and forth for all apps system wide.. try turning it on and off and see if it affects iTunes.

Holding down CNTL OPT CMD and clicking 8 will toggle between "black on white" and "white on black".

Thanks. I bet the apple discussion one is the culprit. I used Onyx after upgrading to Mountain Lion. I'll let you know later. BTW, did you try those keys "CNTL OPT CMD and clicking 8" because it didn't work or do anything for me in Mountain Lion. I remember using it years ago in earlier OS versions.

The regular Genius Mix (the one you could create on a selected song) is gone! cry

OK. Found it, but it's rather obtuse and it doesn't appear in the side bar. That's what I was using for music on my iPhone, since my entire library won't fit on it. 100 songs at a time was sufficient.

I don't like the new lay-out at all. Where's the notification for App updates? Does the i-device have to be plugged in to see that?

My apps show updates on my iPhone via the App Store App - no physical connection needed.

Yes, I've always been able to do that--but with an iPhone, an iPad, and an iPod, updating each device individually means downloading the same thing over and over again. I can download on one and then sync it with the computer and then use the sync as the source of the update for the other two--but that's not optimal, I think.
