Really the provost of my institution, just fired our building secretary for such a bogus reason that it is just makes no sense. She picked the last day of classes before Thanksgiving break, did it at 4 in the afternoon, when basically no one was around, and demanded that the secretary clear out of the building asap. We're going to challenge this decision.
