'Nuther helpful read is the installer log. I always like to see what was installed and where, just in case something unwanted or un-needed get shoved into the system folder (like another copy of an extension that you've put in the disabled folder previously).<br><br>
I used to hate installers that overwrote new extensions with older versions that were buggy...<br><br>I kept a complete copy of my extensions folder (the one that worked the way i liked it) in my system folder (called it extensions copy) and I manually checked all of the versions after a new install (if I noticed a problem)... <br><br>I also got pretty quick at trashing crap that I wouldn't need... didn't ever use the disabled folder, or the extension manager after a while... took too long to load...<br><br>but now with X, I really don't even worry about anything like that (yet)<br><br><br>"In the first place, God made idiots.
