top white and red audio out

Gaaaaaaaaaah! Now you point out that two cables are different color and thus a pair!! Now you tell me. I originally had black cable red in the audio out.

They work the way they are in the picture. I just checked.

As muh father use to say, "Crap-a-mighty! If it was a bear it woulda bit ya!" smile

LOL. Glad you got it fixed.

Just wondering, what size are the recordings in HD? For example how big is an hour show?

Thanks. My Plextor does about 2.7G at best quality.

I just remembered, if your EyeTV software is about the same as mine, if you go to Preferences/Devices you can choose the quality you want to record, and it tells how big it will be. Mine has this.

Whoops. I forgot all about it. Anyway, I export mine for iPhone and iPad and I forget the specs for that.

2:23 7 GB Flight of the Phoenix

2:17 3.8 GB Random Harvest, A film I did last March, before HD

None of this "it seems a little better, clearer, etc. stuff. Remarkable difference from others I have done in the past.

3.5.6 version of EyeTV

Just found this. Seems comparable to what you've chosen, more or less. I watch my movies on the iPad more than anything.

Thanks, I see how it is now. Do me a favor, put it on Best, Better, then Good quality. On the bottom for Disk Use, how much per hour with those?

Just curious as usual, thx.

Don't forget to change it back to iPad. smile

Well now, that was interesting. Started to do what you asked for and notice that the picture went away and it said 480 [?] and picture came back for best, better, good. So I knew there was a way to make my picture 1080i but since I guess I am not finicky, I just never bother. I Changed my TV to 1080 and the picture on my puter got even better!!

Just added the iPad one again as viewing the movie in higher resolution on my TV made the settings different in EyeTV.

Live and Learn. But do I have enough time left to live? smile

.

I just read the whole EyeTV 3 Manual again but didn't learn anything new.

Think I'll try try the Elgato EyeTV FAQ. I think they have a lot of documents there but I have a hard time finding what I want!!
