Sometimes the compulsive obsessive nonstop attention to the presidential election and poll numbers and media spin and personal bickering with friends and family and anxiety about the future and overly confident know-it-all post writing and web search copy & pasting the news of the moment and snarky political nonsense …. sometimes all of it actually worth it because the end result is so damn necessary. Knowing we are living during the time of one of our nation's great presidents and that we've elected an honorable and intelligent man to guide us in very difficult times where politics is pretty messy and directly impacts our lives and our children's lives.

This moment is sweet.

Yes it's hard fought battle, but after the smoke clears it's a SWEET victory !!

Plus the other benefit is due to their severe trouncing, the GOP will listen to the party kooks & Fox pundits, and move further to the right off their flat earth world !!

There's also comfort that Obama will likely decide the future temperament of the Supreme Court for generations to come. That … and his wife who I admire and adore.
