Well 12 year olds can dress very provocative or and act that way - but as the article mentions the very people in charge of her care at school betrayed her. Hence why it was ludicrous for the schools attorneys to even mention that she could even be partially responsible.
So the attorneys used a typical (boiler plate response) = share the blame , which is used in adult -vs- adult rape cases - > attorneys seemed to have forgotten or are just stupid , has lost sight that this is a 12 year old who was under the care of the very people who raped her.
