Same as with the retina MacBooks. RAM is soldered to the motherboard.

Definitely getting the 27", I'll likely max it out with ram and the new Fusion drive options … this thing looks like a starship. Fusion drive!

Hope you purchase 3rd party instead of using Apple's high price RAM. The 27 inch is suppose to be user friendly when it comes to installation.

Also planning on going the Fusion route.

I don't know about the prices for the new MBPs. Those things are expensive!!

I'll be interested to see how they sell. They really aren't priced for the average consumer, they're more of a pro model. For $1700 the base 13" comes with only a 128G Flash drive. To get to a 500G brings the price to $2500. A tricked out 15" is $3750. shocked

Yes they are fast but most people that surf the net and check email don't need that. I wonder what market they are going for.
