Nope. That's an old how-to one that I've already found and like all the others, relates to a previous interface and privacy control panel. FB has a different interface now, which does not present those options. That's the problem I haven't found any timely links.
iPhone wasn't tracking people and announcing your current location to the world. There was an admin log sent back to Apple of cell tower locations as an indication for effciency of the carrier's coverage to evaluate the weak, dead or overloaded locations. Hardly the stuff of an evil corporation's wanting to blanket you with local ads to sell you more, but the news of it was like crack for the paranoid (and the Apple haters). Apple changed that right away after it went public. FB not so much.
