My wife's family in Japan bought an ice cream maker and we had fun using it. I told them that that was a popular thing to do in America, and they were surprised. They can't help but think we get everything from a factory, all have swimming pools, eat our corn on a plate and never on the cob...

There were words to the music...and am I nuts or what...is that george jetson in the commercials
Not George Jetson, but must be one of his 20th century ancestors. Face looks like him but not the clothes. Man, you can sure tell that was in the 50's !! (maybe early, early 60's) white socks and penny loafers !
I am lost in the 50's...still dress that way, white sox, penny loafers when I can find them, flat top butch hair cut.. actually there is nothing there anymore...hardly ever wear blue jeans, button down collar shirts with fruit loops in the back, pants with a buckle in the back...hawiian shirts with huge flower prints made of rayon or banlon.. drive an old car...watch black and white movies and tv reruns from the 50's...music from the 50's....somethings gotta be wrong with me
