No, truth is ~ Dog Butt Ends. I figured "butt" might get this tossed in the Box.
Y'all know Jesse James, on the right. He followed me and Sam Bass home a long time ago. The pup on the left ~ That's Johnny Ringo. He followed me and Jesse home a couple of months before Jim died. Long story short? I sleep well at night between a combined 150 pounds of dog that love me.
Damn. I'm either lucky or totally over protected.

PS: Why they don't clean this place up is so beyond me.
PSS: This is everybody's excuse to post pet pics. Hey, if I could resurrect Word Association? I would.

What a life!
I, too, am over-protected.
Muffinz (bottom bunk) is the aloof one. Junior (top bunk) is our 3-legged shelter cat who is almost dog-like in his friendliness and very vocal demeanor.
Obviously, Steve, I'm partial to dogs, but your guys could change that. Easy. Junior has some serious Cuddle Me quotient.
Isn't it amazing how well they can cope with three legs? There's a 3-legged pup here in the hood, and if you didn't know . . . Hell, I had to look twice to notice.
I read in a vet's column that our pets aren't really emotionally attached to their parts, very unlike us. Someone had written in about how her dog would loose both eyes to cancer, so her vet had told her they'd have to be removed. She wondered how hard this would be for her pet. The answer was ~ Only as hard as you make it. If we're overly worried or depressed, our pets know it (yeah, I can testify to that one). He told her to treat him like she always had.
I haven't had Johnny Ringo fixed yet. Maybe I should write a letter to the vet and ask him . . .

It's more like 3.5 legs. He lost the lower half of his left hind leg in some kind of accident. The shelter we got him from didn't know for sure how it happened. But despite whatever trauma he experienced, he's the friendliest and most affectionate cat I've ever seen. Muffinz sleeps w/my daughter and Junior spends the night on my chest, occasionally waking up to kneed his front paws on my neck! And he spends most of the day on top of the file cabinets next to my desk.
