Maybe the best thing that could happen to the Republicans would be to lose the Presidential election, which is almost certain, and to lose the House and Senate in a way that would make them impotent in both houses of congress. Then let them wander in the wilderness for 8 to 16 years and maybe they would learn something. If they didn't then let them remain in the wilderness.
P.S. I think I'll be voting for a third party candidate this year. They won't win but at least I can live with my conscience for another 4 years.

Well if you believe in what you say, you should vote against every Republican, even if you have to hold your nose on some.
A guy I routinely eat Breakfast with said he's not voting at all, and I reminded him if you don't and the turds get in, you're partly to blame. I keep thinking if Gore had won in 2000 (a few 100 extra votes in Fla), we wouldn't be in this awful mess. He'd never invaded Iraq and he'd probably not given away the surpluses we once had. I think there'd be a HUGE world of difference.

The GOP Party is sinking fast with both Romney and Gingrich not doing really good jobs in trying to make the case to become the next president of the U.S.Obama is popularity is rising rapidly when these 2 start making complete jack asses out of themselves when they speak at these forums.Nothing really sensible comes from both of them.
