I DO fault him for taking advantage since the laws were written by the rich millionaires in Congress !! It's a SCAM !!
It may be legal but is it moral or ethical? . . just like his Vampire Capitalism !
Now he's supposed to be religious... I do remember this passage from Sunday School that says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. Gee Mitt, lose your faith ?
He's just another rich snob... begging for votes.
I agree, that's what I was saying, but you say it so much better.
I also heard that he said that his income from speaking fees "isn't much." He gets $41,000.00 per speech. That's two years wages for me. Not much, Mitt? Really?

Last years take was almost $400,000... but according to Mitt it WASN'T very much !!
The only thing that an increase in payroll taxes is going to do is punish those who actually work for a living, while leaving those who sit around the swimming pool, sipping drinks, waiting for their dividend check to come in continue to milk the system to their advantage.
That might be true for capital gains income, but I think that dividend income is taxed as ordinary income. No tax break there.

$41K per speech really isn't that much. President Clinton commands about $200K per, not sure how much Govnr Palin gets, but when you get out there $41K is rather a pittance.

Comparatively speaking it might not be so high- Newt gets $60,000. BUT Mitt made $374,000 on speeches last year - not much - THAT'S 7 X the average income in this country and that's just the tip of Mitt's iceberg of $$$. He probably made 100 X that in investments. AND he wants to LOWER the rate to even less than 15% while the working stiff pays 20-25% income tax..+ 7.5% payroll taxes. Mitt doesn't pay 1¢ payroll tax on his millions of investment income...
What an ARROGANT, COLD, GREEDY bassterd !! Working people have to be crazy to support that BS !!
