I prefer when I came home that we had respect and honor not we were treated like crap like so many of us went through in coming back to our private life.Yes I agree with these soldiers 100% sorry that is my opinion.
I didn't serve. Just missed the draft by a fluke event in '69. But I lost a half dozen close friends who did serve there. I share your anger over the insensitive way U.S. troops were treated and viewed when they came home from 'Nam. And I can understand the personal motivation to literally or figurative want piss on a barbaric enemy.
I DO NOT, however, believe that adopting the same behavior and POV as the enemy somehow makes you better than them. In fact, it makes you worse, because while you may be venting very personal emotions, you're representing an entire country while doing so — and disrespecting your country in the bargain.
Sorry, dude, but I'm disappointed — and frankly disgusted — by your position on this. You ain't no landsman of mine anymore — so don't be PM-ing me again. — Shalom...
Firstly were you ever in a war? Did you see bodies and legs mangled? Faces blown off every where you go.Your best buddies dying in front of you and these enemies laughing in your face and you cannot do a dam thing about it with these majors or captains up your ass if you did. Then tell me about your great humanitarian ways you claim you have .
You don't have to be raped to know it's wrong, or to fight to prevent the crime.

I have been insinuating for about a year now that I believe him to be a sock puppet.
It is my job to try and keep up with that. I can't give up personal info from the profiles, but from what I can check on he's not. If you google his email address that is in his public profile here he seems legit, his IPs match where he says he's from, and there are no multiple logins from them.
Gerry, we've just had some bad times with sock puppets before, so don't take offense. You do seem to try to get a rise out of the crowd by posting loaded questions that you don't give your opinion on first though. People call that trolling for reactions. Maybe it's just your style.
