If these act like plasmas and LCD/LEDs they'll command a high price until the manufacturing gets ramped-up and then start to drop. I've been amazed at some of the low prices I'm seeing for fairly large televisions these days ...
Yes, they mentioned that some 47" LEDs just dropped below $1000.
Amazing !! AND while there are 3 D models, I've heard there is 3D on the horizon that needs NO GLASSES. In fact I saw someone's 3D phone that was pretty amazing. Not exactly 100% 3D, but not 2D either. Still striking !!

I'm waiting for HD3DSO (High Def 3-Dimensional Spray On). No physical set, no wires, no wall mounts. Just spray the screen onto your wall, wiggle your toes for on-off/volume/channel, etc. Then just wipe it off when you're done watching.

But seriously... I hope their TVs are better than their phones. My beloved Razr V3.xx finally died last spring, and since that model was discontinued, I replaced it with a slider from LG. A. Total. Piece. Of. Crap! It shuts down and restarts on it's own two or three times a day — on a full charge. After which I have to re-pair the BlueAnt (and prior to the BlueAnt, it would drop the bluetooth headset connection every 15 minutes). AT&T sent me a replacement phone, and the bluetooth was completely inoperable!
Fortunately, I found my old phone on Amazon, and brand new Razr V3.xx will arrive by Wednesday. YES!
