I've been an amateur programmer since BASIC came out in 1979. I programmed in BASIC for years and then took up HyperCard in the early 1990's and wrote some educational programs in that format.

Well, at CDC each employee has a training fund called an ILA (Individual Learning Account) and they put $1000 each year into the fund you can spend for development and taking courses. You can accrue 3 years or $3000 max before they start withholding funds. I am leaving CDC and retiring in July 2012 and I have $2500 in my ILA I wanted to use up before I left. I found a 5 day training class in iOS programming at Learning Tree for $2100 and am signed up to start Nov 15th. I'm really looking forward to it. Ought to be a Blast !

1st Day of Class.... DANG programming in C# is not easy.. specially for an old BASIC brain like mine.
