I don't know why this isn't working properly, but though I have the calendar set to show the next ten events, it insists on only showing the next two. And it's totally rubbish that it doesn't work on the lock screen (I'm referring specifically to the drag-down notifications panel thing here).

Anyway, it's still crap compared to the inestimable LockInfo app (which is now working again in beta in ios 5) - Notification Center (shudder) only shows events over the next 24 hours, in spite of saying simply "show next 5/10 events" which is misleading.
LockInfo will show up to 20 events up to 8 weeks ahead, and it'll show them on the lock screen, where you really want them for a quick glance. Probably the most useful jb app I have.
