Lots of 'error 3200' messages from what I read. I had to try three times to update. I guess the Apple servers were just overwhelmed yesterday. But after the third try everything went smoothly.

Having trouble with my software update. Tried twice then just updated iTunes. The the first time updating to iOS 5 on my iPhone didn't take so now giving it another go.

Crazy.

Writing this on my iPad. Not sure I want to update it. Yesterday the Apple Tv update failed also.

I am running snow leopard

Yep, that failed also. Guess, I will wait a few days.

Apparently a lot of people are losing purchased songs etc. after updating to iOS 5. Might be worth waiting a bit for an update.

Me, I'm waiting for an untethered jailbreak before updating laugh.

I have not updated to 'Lion' yet on my iMac. I tried it twice but received error messages. One of them stating that 'a recovery disk could not be created'. Another simply telling me that 'Lion' could not be installed. I guess (from what I read) 'Lion' doesn't like my partitioning scheme (Windows XP).
The bizarre thing is that I have an identical setup on my MacBook. And the 'Lion' installation went smoothly. No error messages, nada.
I'm still scratching my head looking for an explanation....

I upgraded my iPad 2 to v5 and all went well this morning. I did not lose any songs.

However, I did lose a couple of no-longer supported apps such as a Wi-Fi Finder (which I still used).

Were you in here when we had a quite lengthy discussion about that message and the work arounds?
