I was watching that last night, and found it amazingly prescient. They're just getting to what they were doing in NeXT in the late 80s. Time Machine was a move in that direction for ease in backing up files. But not the cloud part for working files. Now, if only we could get gigabit over Internet and 50 TB of space online for a reasonable price. :-D
We just put in 48 TB of storage space (IT quality hardware on an HP server running Server 2008 and tape backup with the tapes going to Iron Mountain) and it cost us $23K. Ouch! But it's good to have reliable storage space for our videos from the past 20 years and for the near future.
