I would like to buy a normal VGA/SVGA monitor to put in place of the B&W monitor in the Mac Plus case. What size should I buy? I have seen both 9" and 10" on Ebay for fairly cheap.

I know the spec for the monitor is 9" but I measured it and it seems to be 9" viewable... the actual tube size is a bit bigger. Maybe a 10" would fit??

(Obviously, I'm not planning on connecting this monitor to the existing Plus board in the computer :p)

Thanks for any tips!!

Well......

You're right about that, however... the 10" monitor I got (from Ebay - $19) is just really big. It will JUST JUST squeeze into the case, but I'm not sure. It will be super tight.

I'm not sure what to do. I was going to get a 9" monitor and compare, but I think it would be too small...

Anyway, here is my site about the project:

MAC PLUS MEDIA STATION: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dspender/
