I want to recycle a dead iMac G5. My guess is the power supply is dead, because the cord id burnt on both ends. It was my Mother's machine, and I want to recycle it, but don't want to leave the Hard Drive. Any help is appreciated.
that's what I would do. If it's dead and you're going to toss it in the trash - have some fun destroying it! Be sure to video the whole process if you do. Ice-T did a while back, it was hilarious all the way to the end (warning: Language!):
