That is just amazing! So the general consensus was that they are selling "real" Apple products.

LOL - that was on our Radio news show, the morning traffic kind of show.

According to them there are 2 fake Apple stores - selling the fake Apple products - they all have fake Apple employees, they are dressed the same way, right down to that store badging they wear around their neck here.

Talk about arrogance

My understanding is, you have to be a (Authorized) Reseller to get Apple products. If your not authorized by Apple , you get nothing. Now if this fake store is selling real Apple products they are getting those not from Apple, maybe black market or some other kind of trickery ? ? My best bet is that the counterfeiters found the best way to sell their junk.. After all if your gonna fake the products why not fake the whole shebang laugh

Anyway
Authorized resellers can use the Apple logo, they can design their store similar to Apple stores - However under the Apple logo it must say (Authorized Resellers) Like the one on Maui and the one on Oahu here says the same thing under the logo.

This is where the arrogance comes in.
This guy could have just said Apple Reseller, under the logo and nobody would even blink an eye - but NOooooo this clown wanted to pirate the Store branding as well laugh laugh

2 were shut down for not having a business license. The original store that the story broke about is still open.

One store still open.
