This is the first time in the history of OS X that I'm not on the edge of my seat waiting for the update. Not because I don't think it's interesting or a worthwhile upgrade, but because iOS has stolen the show for me.
I'll still upgrade on day one, though. Debating on whether or not I'll do a fresh install …probably won't. I'll wait until I get a new Mac and start from scratch then.

Must be something wrong with your system then, it works here and on other computers in other places that don't meet their specs. Does it give just the big blue Q? What happens when you try to watch it?
Gives just a spinning beach ball for 5 to 10 minutes. Then I give up.
However. I just tried again today - and it works.
Possible since that my (cable amplifier) had no power. I discovered this just a few days ago due to the amplifier power supply is behind a 6 X 4 foot tall book case,, which takes 2 people to move <-- so how that got disconnect is anyones guess ? ? and for how long ?

So it's coming out on the 20th US time? I have a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and btw, a memory of 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Apple says this is enough, but I know next to nothing about processors. Is this on the slow end I would guess? Installing a new OS near the minimum specs possible can leave one with a pretty miserable response time, if memory* serves.
*my actual brain cell memory donchaknow
